ROOF REPAIR

Lazydays’ experts have extensive experience in RV roof repair and RV roof replacement, and are proficient in working with both rubber and fiberglass roofs. RV rubber roof repair typically involves replacing the rubber membrane, sub-roof and sealant. There are multiple steps in the RV rubber roof replacement process:

  • Remove all rooftop objects (air-conditioning units, antennas, vents, etc.)
  • Remove the rubber roof membrane and old sealant
  • Remove and replace the luan sheeting used in the sub-roof
  • Install the new rubber roof membrane
  • Reinstall the rooftop components
  • Apply new sealant to all seams to ensure a watertight seal

A different process is used for fiberglass roof repair, though it requires an equally high level of professional expertise. While RV rubber roof repair involves replacement of the entire membrane to prevent RV roof leaks, fiberglass roof repair targets the damaged sections only. Fiberglass RV roof repair generally includes the following steps:

  • Sand down the damaged area(s)
  • Apply fiberglass RV roof repair materials
  • Apply primer surfacer
  • Sand, prep and refinish as needed

SERVICE REVIEWS

When we have service done, they set our RV on a site. So it’s here, it’s parked. And they’re able to work on it while we’re able to stay in it. You can’t beat the service.

We received great service and our rig was handled as we handle it and that is important. The young man who worked on our rig was courteous and certainly knew his stuff. Thank you for all that was done.
