HOW MUCH IS AN RV?

A new RV can cost anywhere from $8,000 for a small pop-up camper to over $700,000 for a luxury Class A Diesel. HOW MUCH DOES AN RV WEIGH?

Depending on the size of the RV and the amount of stuff inside, a fully loaded travel trailer can weigh anywhere from 1,000 to over 10,000 pounds. The Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) is specified by the manufacturer and should never be exceeded. Unloaded (dry weight) should be 1,000 pounds lower than your tow capacity.

HOW TO WINTERIZE AN RV?

Follow the steps below to winterize your RV and protect the plumbing system:

  1. Remove any inline water filters.
  2. Drain and flush the potable, black and grey water tanks.
  3. Let the water heater tank cool, then drain.
  4. Use a water pump conversion kit to introduce RV antifreeze into the system.

HOW MUCH IS RV INSURANCE?

RV insurance is typically much less expensive than auto insurance. Depending on the value of your RV, how often you plan to use it, the state you live in, your driving record and other factors, RV insurance premiums can cost as little as $125 per year.

HOW MUCH IS AN AIRSTREAM?

Airstream travel trailers range in size and price. The 2019 Basecamp travel trailer, Airstream’s most compact model has an MSRP of just $36,900 and sleeps up to 2 people. Other Airstream travel trailer models range in price from $45,000 up to $150,000.
