The 2016 Florida State Fair is on the horizon, and promises to bring fun to Floridians and out-of-state visitors alike. This year, Lazydays RV in Tampa is proud to be the fair’s exclusive RV sponsor. We invite you and your family to this 11-day event full of music, entertainment, food, friendly competition, and yes, RVs!
Fair Highlights
With creative new fare, a variety of musical acts, and exciting new rides, The Florida State Fair definitely lives up to its tagline “Discover the Fun”. From performances by Colt Ford and Latin GRAMMY nominated Ulises Hadjis to the Florida VEX Robotics Competition State Championships, we’re sure there won’t be a dull moment.
While deciding your next move, indulge in some fair food. Be sure to sample the ‘Bacon Bomb Explosion Burger’, this year’s winner of the People’s Choice Burger Contest. Other interesting concoctions to try include PB&J quesadillas and deep fried birthday cake pops.
Next get in line for some of the Fair’s wildest rides, like the colossal Super Cyclone Roller Coaster or the Stampede. You can also check out some of the many animals being showcased as part of the Agribusiness portion of the Fair.
Serving Those Who Serve
The Florida State Fair is also a time to give back, which is why the Fair is proud to host Heroes Day. This day is dedicated to the men and women who keep our nation safe by putting themselves in harm’s way. To recognize their service, admission will be free to all military, firefighter, and law enforcement personnel. Additionally, Lazydays will be selecting one lucky hero at random, who will receive a one-week stay at our Tampa resort.
