Cave Creek Fireworks and Food Trucks Extravaganza
The Phoenix area knows how to throw a good party, and the Cave Creek Fireworks and Food Trucks Extravaganza is one of the best places in the state to enjoy the Fourth of July. The event will be held in Cave Creek, Ariz., from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and will feature gourmet food trucks, tons of live music, a kids’ zone, water rides, a beer garden and plenty of other fun for all ages. The site, at the northeast corner of Schoolhouse Road and Cave Creek Road, offers the best spot to view the Cave Creek fireworks.
Freedom Fourth in Albuquerque
Venture a little farther away from Tucson to Albuquerque, N.M., for the annual Freedom Fourth celebration at Balloon Fiesta Park. The event is free to the public and will feature tons of live entertainment — including national headliner Thompson Square — from 4 p.m. to 9:20 p.m., when the fireworks show will begin.
