For Snowbirds across the country, Valentine’s Day is a perfect reason to fuel up the RV and head somewhere warm.

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, but winter’s still here. For Snowbirds across the country, Valentine’s Day is a perfect reason to fuel up the RV and head somewhere warm. There are plenty of places across the country to spend a warm, romantic holiday, so we’ve narrowed it down to a list of three: Miami FL, Charleston, SC, and San Diego, CA. Here are just a few ideas from Lazydays RV for Snowbird getaways on Valentine’s Day.

Miami, FL

Great food, beautiful beaches, stunning weather, and a vibrant mix of cultures make Miami one of the most unique cities in the world. For Snowbirds looking to head somewhere warm for Valentine’s Day, head to Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park for a romantic pinic and walk along the beach. The park features the Cape Coral Lighthouse, one of the most scenic attractions of any National Park in the US. Neighborhoods like Wynwood, Doral, and Coral Cables have incredible restaurants that make great dinner spots for Valentine’s Day. Snowbirds looking for a little more peace and quiet can enjoy one of the most scenic RV winter road trips in the country by heading down Route 1 to Key West.

Charleston, SC

Charleston, SC is a city that epitomizes Southern charm. With great weather year-round, Charleston is a great city to go RVing to in the winter. A Valentine’s Day classic, Charleston offers a variety of incredible carriage rides throughout the city that showcase its beauty and rich history. The Battery, a waterfront promenade along the Southern point of Charleston proper, makes for a great afternoon walk and offers stunning views of Charleston Harbor. The Grand Bohemian Hotel, located in Charleston’s French Quarter, offers wine tasting, an art gallery, and amazing dining.

 San Diego, CA

San Diego, CA is the ideal California beach town for Snowbirds looking to go RVing in the winter. Just about 6 hours from Lazydays RV of Tucson, San Diego is the perfect destination for a Valentine’s Day stop during a winter RV trip. A hike through Torrey Pines State Park offers incredible views of the Pacific Ocean, as does dining or grabbing a drink along Pacific or Mission Beach. The Gaslamp Quarter offers a plethora of great restaurants and bars to spend the evening at, and Balboa Park has beautiful gardens that are perfect for an afternoon walk. San Diego also has dozens of great wineries and breweries located all over the city that offer a fun way to see the city.
