Lazydays, the RV Authority and world’s largest RV dealership, is getting into the fall holiday spirit by rolling out a string of autumn-themed activities at the expansive Lazydays RV Resort, including Halloween ghost tours, Oktoberfest parties and more.

The newly expanded, upgraded 300-site RV Resort is open to the general public and features amenities designed to provide camping enjoyment for people of all ages whether they are RVing individually, with families or with large groups.

The autumn action kicks off with Halloween-themed movies on Friday nights at the RV Resort, including “The Conjuring,” October 16, “Sleepy Hollow,” October 23 and “Casper,” October 30 in the Rally Center. On Saturday nights, there are Oktoberfest parties and live entertainment in the pool area, October 10, 17, 24 and 31.

Lazydays is also organizing a “Ghost Tour Rally” to Ybor City, which may or may not be haunted by the ghosts of Cigar City’s colorful past. Another rally will cross the bay to St. Petersburg, which is possibly haunted by spirits such as Beat Writer and novelist Jack Kerouac, who some say still strolls the aisles of local bookstores. Transportation is provided by Lazydays on October 22 and October 25.

For those wanting a sneak peek at next-year’s RV models, Winnebago will have manufacturer representatives on site at the RV Resort November 12-15 with models for guests to tour.

“We are thrilled to welcome our loyal RVers and their families on site,” said Linda Stephens, who oversees the Resort at Lazydays. “Here at the Resort, we want to offer our guests some of the best activities and entertainment around, especially with the approaching holiday season.”

Thanksgiving festivities kick into high gear in November, with a Thanksgiving-themed rally November 19-21 with turkey and all the dressings. A special Christmas-themed rally will begin December 3rd and run through the 6th, with the Lazydays annual tree lighting scheduled for Friday December 4.

The Lazydays friendly Resort staff is on site 24 hours a day and is available to assist in any way, even help in planning special events, large and small. A full-time concierge is located on site to assist with travel plans and discounted local attraction tickets.

The Resort features 24-hour security, newly remodeled pool, hot tub, laundry and shower facilities, complimentary Wi-Fi, cable TV and newspaper, plus special discounts at the Exit 10 Restaurant & Pub. As an extra bonus, Lazydays’ customers and active or retired military receive 10 percent off.

Along with all the special autumn events planned at the Lazydays Tampa Resort location, campers can enjoy swimming in the pool almost year-round in the warm Florida climate.
