Hillsborough Education Foundation Awards Lazydays® Partners Foundation “New Business Partner of the Year”

SEFFNER, Fla. – The Hillsborough Education Foundation (HEF) has presented Lazydays® Partners Foundation (Foundation) with its “2006 New Business Partner of the Year Award” for the Foundation’s $125,000 commitment to HEF’s Take Stock in Children scholarship program.  The Foundation’s pledge to HEF will enable fifty (50) graduating high school seniors to receive college scholarships.

“The Lazydays® Partners Foundation has generously invested in the scholarship and mentoring programs of the Hillsborough Education Foundation over the past year.  Once they learned about a way they could become involved to help students at risk, they answered the call by sponsoring a large number of scholars with $125,000 worth in scholarships,” said Janine Ferrante of HEF.

“We are very proud to be honored with this distinction,” said Dana Philp, President of the Lazydays® Partners Foundation. “Our mission is to measurably change the lives of children in the Tampa Bay area.  Through this gift to the Hillsborough Education Foundation, we are able to change children’s lives by giving them the gift of an education.  I cannot think of a better and longer lasting gift than that.”
