Lazydays Prepares 30,000th RV Customer for the Wide Open Road
March 10, 2008 – (Seffner, FL) – While RVers are passing mile markers along highways, Lazydays RV SuperCenter® (“Lazydays”) Driving Instructor Barney Alexander has reached a milestone of his own—preparing his 30,000th RV customer for the wide open road through his RV Driver Confidence Course.
Alexander has taught this course since 2000 and has shared the joy his customers feel in knowing they can navigate 16 tons of recreational vehicle. “It’s been a rewarding experience,” Alexander stated. “Customers come in petrified and leave feeling so happy because they are now confident in living out their [RV lifestyle] dreams.”
Fred Luxton and his wife, Maxine, were named the 30,000th graduate of Alexander’s class. As first-time RVers, the Luxtons attended the course so they could drive their new 43-foot Class A Beaver Patriot Thunder across the West in confidence. The Merry Point, Virginia couple drove home 900 miles from Lazydays and was so proud of their successful journey, they cannot wait to reach their next destination.
“Why take the chance?” Luxton noted. “This class gives you practical tips and the opportunity to know your RV. We were very impressed and would definitely take the class again.”
RV Driver Confidence is offered four times weekly free of charge to Lazydays sales prospects, customers and guests of the dealership’s on-site campground, RallyPark. There is a $75 per person or $99 per couple charge for outside parties. The course is designed to combine classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel experience to reduce students’ fears of handling a large vehicle.
