Lazydays® Increases Number of Certified RV Technicians

January 13, 2004 – (Seffner, FL) – Lazydays® RV SuperCenter® (“Lazydays”), the nation’s number one recreational vehicle (“RV”) dealer, has increased the number of its RVIA Certified and Master Certified technicians to 72, with nine technicians recently achieving certification. “Our continuous in-house training program for technicians gives us the ability to keep pace with all of the new and complicated systems that are being installed in today’s RV's. Our goal for 2004 is to have 100% of our 122 technicians achieve RVIA certification,” says Bill Romito, Lazydays’ Director of Technical Training.

Lazydays® was founded in 1976 in Tampa, Florida and relocated in May 1996 to a much larger RV destination complex in Seffner, Florida, which is just east of downtown Tampa. The dealership is located on 150 acres with an 83,000 sq. ft. main building, over 1,200 RV’s on display, 273 service bays and 300 RV campsites. Lazydays’ expansive complex requires a fleet of 170 golf carts to move both customers and employees throughout the property. Additionally, the dealership serves over 300,000 meals annually to its customers, prospects and employees. The site has a 40,000 sq. ft. Camping World store, a Cracker Barrel Restaurant and a Flying J RV Travel Plaza.
